DUTCH WATER MUSEUM

Water wheel dutch water museum

The Dutch Water Museum is located in the Bagijnemolen or St Angnietenmolen. Until the early 20th century this was a flour mill. The millstones and the associated machinery had long since been removed.

Gratia Hydro has made the existing water wheel suitable for generating electricity. A gearbox, a permanent magnet generator and an inverter were installed on the existing axle. The electricity is supplied to the grid and is more than enough to power the bicycle chargers for the visitors.
